Hello everyone. I’ll tell you something more about a version of “Parlami d’amore Mariu’” I like very much. It’s performed by Enrico Rava, and it was included in a show created to celebrate Fred Buscaglione and Italy in the 50s. Beside Enrico Rava, the show saw the partecipation of Stefano Bollani, Gianmaria Testa and “La Band Osiris”.
I particularly appreciate this version, beacuse it’s full of jazz typical elements, but it doesn’t betray the real nature of the song, and the atmosphere it’s meant to evocate.
